About Us
We are an independent Baptist congregation established in 1933 as Belmont Baptist only a couple of miles from our current location. In 1957 the congregation moved to our current location and reorganized as Missouri Avenue Baptist Church.
We believe in the inspired Word of God and use it as our only rule of faith and practice. We believe and preach the fundamentals of the faith as taught in the Scripture, including the necessity of salvation for every lost soul.
Our services are traditional in manner of worship, centered around the Lord Jesus Christ and the Gospel message.
Our goals are to glorify God in our public worship and our personal lives, and then to evangelize the lost and train believers for God’s service.
